::Oguz medical institutions provide health services to about 40.5 thousand people in the region. There are 74 doctors, 256 nurses and about 230 other employees in the district medical institutions. After structural changes in the district health care since January 1, 2010, the number of inpatient beds in the district was 106 beds. 91 of them fall to the city and 15 to the Khashmaz rural field hospital. In addition, there are 8 rural doctor's offices and 19 medical centers in the villages.
