The Heydar Aliyev Center is a building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan, designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid. The center is named after Heydar Aliyev, the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003. It has been completed on May 10th, 2012 and it considers Azerbaijan's Amazing Transformation, one of the main attractions for tourists and has also become a symbol of modern Azerbaijan. Best time to visit and see before the sunset for amazing pictures.

Amazing! Impressive architecture building from outside and from inside as well. Each floor is dedicated to a specific theme and well designed. The Heydar Aliyev Center is a 57,500 m2 building complex in Baku / Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles.

It is a beautiful piece of construction. Though I couldn't go inside it. The surrounding is great and also one can take photos

Beautiful huge modern building stretching the imagination to its limits. The vastness both inside and outside was impressive and the contents of the museum are very informative.

A very amazing architectural building, filled with historical items. We took a 1:30 hours tour going through 4 floors showing different items starting with the country map and traditional customs and cloth on the 1st floor, followed by Geometric designs on the 2nd floor, beautiful dolls and puppets on the 3rd and Azerbaijani women dress styles over the years in the last floor. There is also a gallery for cars with separate entry ticket and beautiful landscape work surrounding the building
